7. One day, the younger brother broke wind, a
"poot." It was rather fragrant. He thought to himself, "Other people
break wind and it's smelly, but mine is so fragrant! Hence, I might be
able to sell my farts to earn some money!"
|
 |
8. And so the younger brother went to the market,
shouting on the streets,
"Fragrant farts for sale, fragrant farts for sale! If you don't believe
it, I can break some wind for you to smell."
After speaking, he let out
some wind for everyone to smell. "Wow! It's really fragrant! If we get
our containers here to store his wind, our clothes and mattresses will
become fragrant too!"
So the people who could afford it bought "wind" from him. Soon after,
he became wealthy and bought a house, buffalo and farmland. From then
on, he lived even better than his older brother.

9. When the older brother saw that the younger
brother had become wealthy, he came to ask him, "Younger brother, how
did you become rich?" The younger brother then gave all the details to
him.
"Oh, that's good! Let me go and have a try myself," the older brother
said.
And so the older brother went. Up to the mountains and into the forest,
eating whatever he could find when he was hungry, just like the younger
brother did. After some time, he broke wind and it was fragrant too.
"Good, this time I will get rich too."
That day he went to the market, and shouted in the same way, "Fragrant
farts for sale, fragrant farts for sale!"
